Deeper Integration Between Spotify and TikTok
This new integration simplifies the process for Spotify users to share music on TikTok. Users can now post songs in their TikTok feed, stories, or send them through direct messages, making music sharing more convenient and engaging.
Much like the existing feature for Apple Music, which was introduced with iOS 18.1, this new Spotify-TikTok integration allows songs to be shared seamlessly. When a song is posted, TikTok will automatically link it to the post, enabling viewers to hear a preview when they come across it. For video posts, users can even record themselves with the song playing in the background.
“This new feature complements our existing partnership with TikTok, allowing users to easily save songs directly to Spotify from TikTok with just a simple tap, and we’re excited to now bring this feature to users across the globe on iOS and Android,” a TikTok spokesperson said.
