Hoyoverse Expands with "Zenless Zone Zero," Coming to iPhone on Independence Day
Zenless Zone Zero, by the creators of Genshin Impact, is the latest highly anticipated title in the Hoyoverse. It features an anime style and is described as an "urban fantasy action role-playing game."
Game Overview
Zenless Zone Zero is set in a modern-day world under assault from a supernatural disaster. The gameplay takes place in a squad-based 3D world, combining action and role-playing elements. In a unique twist, players act as companions, joining forces with computer-controlled heroes.
Development and Beta Testing
The game was revealed in May 2022 and has undergone two years of beta testing.
Pre-Registration and Rewards
Players who choose to pre-register on the game's website can earn free consumables and a character to play in the game. Additionally, starting on July 4, 2024, using the code "ZZZFREE100" will give players more consumables delivered to their in-game mailbox.
Free-to-Play Model and Additional Content
Like other titles in the Hoyoverse, such as Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero will be free-to-play. However, there will be significant amounts of downloadable content and paid consumables available.
Availability
Pre-downloads for supported platforms will be available on July 2, and there is already an App Store page established. The title will be playable on July 4 on PlayStation 5, Windows, Android, iOS, and iPadOS.
